Councillor Dady

In May 2011, Anthony was elected as a Labour Party councillor for the Corby Borough Council ward of Tower Hill. In his time serving in this role, he has represented the people of the ward at Council meetings, supported local activities, acted as an advocate for residents when they are going through problems, and successfully joined with others in achieving many befits to the community, including:

  • Road resurfacing
  • Overgrown areas cut back and re-landscaped
  • Street lights turned back on
  • Cancelled bus routes restored
  • Problems with anti-social neighbours resolved
  • Sub-standard housing improved
  • Fly-tips removed
  • Cemetery problem resolved
  • Benefits difficulties dealt with
  • Perceived problems with teenagers addressed

Anthony holds a surgery at the Beanfield Community Centre at 7pm on the last Wednesday of every month. This is a chance for residents to address their concerns to Anthony in order for him to take up the case and try to resolve the difficulty.
